First and foremost.
We take a step.

Five girls of about 17 years old, the so-called lazy age, together with director Catoke Kramer searched for the things they would still like to fight for. And for that where they worry about, and what makes them intensely happy.

The result is a visual performance of a protest for the noise of against the silence, terrifying and loving at the same time.

Catoke Kramer made in 2010 at Het Huis van Bourgondië, The possibility of a farewell, her final performance for the Toneelacademie Maastricht. She was awarded an honorable mention from the Ton Lutz Prize 2010: "The show, which almost went towards visual art, intrigued the jury."

 

Komt dat zien.
Komt dat horen.
Omdat we jong zijn en wat willen.
Wat dat willen precies is, weten we ook niet.
Zeker is dat we iets willen.
Voorop staat.

 

Vijf meiden van rond de 17 jaar, in de zogenaamde luie leeftijd, zochten samen met regisseur Catoke Kramer naar de dingen waar zij nog voor zouden willen vechten. En naar dat waar ze zich druk om maken en waar ze intens gelukkig van worden.

 

Het resultaat is een beeldende voorstelling over een protest voor de stilte tegen het lawaai, angstaanjagend en liefdevol tegelijkertijd.

Catoke Kramer maakte in 2010 bij Het Huis van Bourgondië De mogelijkheid van een afscheid, haar afstudeervoorstelling voor de Toneelacademie Maastricht. Ze kreeg hiervoor een eervolle vermelding van de Ton Lutzprijs 2010: "De voorstelling, die haast richting visual art ging, intrigeerde de jury.”
